What a long strange trip it has been…
This website was founded in June 2009, and was born to to give me (Dolo) something to work on and play with. Since the past few months, this little joke of a website has grown exponentially into something. It’s had it hard times and its good times, what can I say? One of the hardest things to master as a person is self motivation, and in writing what now is 100 articles on things to do is an achievement.
And the Future?
I won’t lie to you, it’s a pain in the butt to update things every other day. Looking, scanning, and creating fancy graphics all for nothing seems like a heavy workload. Most days I have to update this site, I say “Damn, it’s that time again… What shall I think of today?”. Well friends and bots, I’ll tell that things for the future are still bright! Here are some things to look forward to in the future:
Why have I read all this?
I have been keeping this awesome game just for this type of event actually. If you haven’t noticed already, there’s a big “Play Super Mario” button to your right. Click it to spend hours trying to beat all the levels. It does take a bit of time to get use to, but it’s fun. Trust me. Hey folks, it’s been a while since I’ve had a formal telling to the public about the cool stuff going down with Bored to Hell. As you may or may not know we’ve been running for three solid months, and have been kicking ass. Hundreds of you folks come a day to enjoy the little things, well mostly for the explosives… Anyways just want to show you some upcoming things for the site, and it’s all because you helped it grow!
Site Updates, Broski
There are many new things that I have been working on for you folks, besides posting new stuff every other night, I am a hard working web developer. For the usual’s you may notice that every article on the site has been refurbished (mostly the old ones) to nice, new, and clean looking content. Another thing you may notice is the related posts under each page. You have been given thumbnails for every post here. In other words, I created 92 different 110×110 thumbnails. FML!
Hey, a direct message to those people who have Facebooks, Myspace, and Twitter. Share this stuff with your friends please. You are given easy tools to click the “Facebook” icon under each post. But, if you do find a neat trick from the site, make sure you pull it off, and then show it off to your friends.

My hand really hurts! After trying for a while, Press The Space Bar 2000 has beaten the almighty Dolo. How many times can you press the space bar 5 seconds? How about 10 seconds? And the all painful 20 seconds? I tried for a good thirty minutes (no cheating!) trying to get my scores up and there are my results! What can you guys do? For today’s post on BTH, we have a very very special game. Now I know many of you who will and would read this might of played this fantastic game, but I’m sure some have not. This is probably one of my all time favorite games..
You start of as a test subject for the “Enrichment Center” for “Aperture Laboratories, and slowly you are awaken by a calm, smooth voice. The voice will guide you through several test chambers as you proceed through the game, and eventually receiving the “Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device”. You are told, never to look at the gun, never fire the gun in water, and ——. But wait… The voice you heard just sped up into Spanish. And you, Chell, are promised cake and grief counseling as your reward if you manages to complete all the test chambers.
You will keep going and proceeding through harder test chambers, some including weapons that kill. You’ll also notice that all the windows looking into the test chamber have no one inside of them. So where is everyone? Will you ever learn of the “Weighted Companion Cube”, every portal players best friend? Play the game! While the game play is original, the voice acting and plot is one of the best iv’e seen in years for these types of games. It combines humor and a love for inanimate objects, sad really, but the game is hilarious to play. Don’t forget the ending song of the game, you won’t ever forget it. Youtube “Still Alive” if you’ve already played the game!

Today on BTH, we have a rather stupid, but fun flash application. I don’t need to explain much, but if you are angered and mad at stupid things, why not open some doors? Isn’t it stupid that even the dumbest of flash games can keep you entertained for a long time. Open. Close. Open. Close.
Today on BTH, we have a rather addicting game made from Zefrank. In this game you draw lines upon lines and watch it turn in a 3D picture. A few stupid lines placed in a nice place will give you a very cool looking masterpiece.
