What is it?

“Google Trends is a public web facility of Google Inc., about Google Search, that shows how often a particular search-term is entered relative to the total search-volume across various regions of the world, and in various languages. The horizontal axis of the main graph represents time (starting from some time in 2004), and the vertical is how often a term is searched for relative to the total number of searches, globally.[1] Below the main graph, popularity is broken down by region, city and language. It is possible to refine the main graph by region and time period.”

Pick a Date!

You can also hit up Google Hot Trends, which will display a list of fourty trends for the current date. If you look up to the top left of the screen, you can change to date. It’s kinda like a history book isn’t it? You can check on any date (not too far back now) and see what happened! By the way, it only goes back to May 2007, so not too much you can actually look up! What a fail Google! D:

Are there other sites like this?

Of course there are silly! You can use the Alexa ranks too (my personal favorite)! You can find those trends at two different spots on the Alexa site. There is the “What’s Hot” section and the “Top Pages” section. Hopefully one day I’ll be up there! Though that will probably never happen! Poor me! Enjoy…

Hah, Hulu is for movies you silly fool! And even I bet you can’t even find your favorite television shows there. So there is no reason for ever having wasted time (unless you were on Bored to Hell of course).

Wolfram Alpha… What the hell?

By far this is one of the coolest websites I have ever found. When I say that, I mean it’s better then Google or any website in the world. Judging by the name of this website, you probably have no idea what this is, or why you’re here. But trust me, if you want to get things done in your life without having to go through all the bullshit on the internet, this is it. If you ever have any question or problem to solve, look no further.

Hey look, it does my homework!

Possibly the greatest feature of this site is it will take any equation that you submit, process it, and give you the results you want. I’m talking about full on every explanation you could think of. You can ask it anything, just to name a few:

Details on your name and your birthday
Type in “Weather” and it gives you your area’s weather
Type in “Cake” and it will give nutrition facts
Type in any person, place, or thing and you’ll know all about it

Great for research and great for stalking people…

The creepiest part about the site is that it has so much information on the people that live around you. Try typing in a name of a family member, or anyone you know ( not too young), and it will dig up information on them. It is scary to know that everything about you is on the internet, but hey, welcome to 2009. A part from being bored, it’s a great tool to look up history and research if you’re into that stuff. If you’re a mathematics geek, or simply twelve years old and can’t solve fractions, don’t worry! Enter it and you’re done!

Screw the calculator!

Need math done for your homework? Sick of using that horrible TI-89 calculator? Enter whatever you’re trying to solve from fractions to calculus three, it will solve it and show you how it’s done.

Why am I always so bored?

Every time I feel like it, I will bring you to some incredibly funny, but stupid websites. The four websites today include many popular internet sites not known to the average user. I will probably get some shit for doing so, via emails and comments about people disagreeing with me, but that’s my problem.. When I wrote this letter, I hoped of becoming a large master of the web one day, and hoping that I would make it in the big time. Unfortunately, when I wrote it, I spelt the email wrong and hit send! The real email is in the blue, but when I hit backspace the letter was all gone. So no, I will not be receiving this email. Sorry folks.

A user submitted site to be surprised, but Vidzin does have a very good content system. Finding the videos you want is very easy through the popular movies on the front page. The next best part is that when you click on the video, it instantly gives you the highest quality movie infront of you. No picking through user ratings and comments makes Vizdin a very good movie link site!

So whatever you decide in the end, they are both VERY good sites for free movie links!
